Katya

Katya is a misinformation and disinformation researcher looking at the impacts of synthetically generated media on society and the way advances in technology play a role in dictating new forms of propaganda. She is a full-merit scholarship candidate at Parsons School of Design- The New School and co-author of the Future of International Cooperation Report 2024. She believes deeply in the transformative power of design thinking as a means to finding multistakeholder solutions; and in the collective good of people. As a former computer science student, her ultimate goal is to produce qualitative research on the innovations and governance of tech.
